As the Crow Flies, Black and White Fine Art Print

This crow art is the result of my belief that sometimes all the reading and writing about nature in the world cannot quite capture the beautiful truth of it.

At some point, I started idly dreaming of a typewriter that could write in "crow" and bring us crow messaged entirely unfiltered by human thought. Eventually, I found I had to draw it.

This fine art poster-sized print is one of a series of bold and minimalist illustrations highlighting the movement and built-in poetry of birds. This series explores the meeting of different types of language: nature's simple beauty (and what it can tell us if we listen), typography, and calligraphy. There is also (always) humour.

MUSEUM-QUALITY
Each museum-quality print is made by the artist using archival inks on acid-free, 100% cotton rag, museum-quality paper with a bright white, slightly textured finish.

SIGNED PRINTS
The artist signs each print.

FRAMING OPTIONS
The prints are beautiful enough to be professionally framed — and substantial enough for a minimalist display created by hanging the work from small binder clips.

The weight of the paper is similar to that of business cards (202lb, for the technically minded.)

SIZING
Please note that the size of these prints refers to the entire print.

A 16x20-inch print will measure 16x20 inches edge to edge and will fit, untrimmed, in a 16x20-inch poster frame.

METICULOUS PACKAGING
Each print will be meticulously packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Smaller prints will be packaged flat in an acid-free cellophane bag, sandwiched between foam core inside a rigid envelope. The large prints will be packaged inside a large, heavy-duty mailing tube.
